  My Haddy Bug is 20 weeks today!! He's getting so big!! We had so much fun doing his pictures this morning. :) It helps when you have a very happy baby to work with. :)

   Hayden cracks me up in this video. He face is so expressive. I love how he raises his eye brows at himself. And nope, he's not the least bit vain. ;) Normally he would looks at himself in all three mirrors but he was pretty tired this morning. But that's okay. I still think this video is pretty cute and wanted to share. I hope it brightens some of ya'll's days. :)

Too cool for school

   So Hayden has such a big personality!! He kind of has to to keep up with my family!! HAHA!! I can't believe someone so little can pack so much personality in! In just the last few days here are the things Hayden has gotten into...

Ended up in the middle of the floor with Tinker licking his ear

Somehow got his playmat on top of him

Kept getting his feet out of his sleeper

At 0630 decided to kick the poles that keeps his playmat up so his playmat would roll on top of him

One second he was playing on his playmat and the next he was two feet away from his playmat with Ellie on his back. Still trying to figure out how she got on his back.

Decided his diaper bag was tasty and somehow got all of his

He got rug burn on his knees from going off his playmat and the quilt under the playmat and scooting on the carpet

For the 3rd time in the same day Hayden decided to get all of the diapers out of the bag. I have no idea how he does it!!

Today I put on his sunglasses to make sure they fit and this is the look he gave me. "I'm so totally too cool for you Mom."

   I am loving each and every stage this little man hits and I can't wait to see what comes next!! I am in so much trouble when he starts crawling and walking and his personality gets even bigger!! I can't even imagine what is going to come out of his mouth when he starts talking. Watch out world!! :D

Abs of Steel (Working on sitting up)

  HAPPY SATURDAY!! We have been working with Hayden for awhile on sitting up. He likes to stand up but for some reason sitting up just holds no appeal to him. This is about how far we have gotten with him.

  As you can tell her has more interest in his binky and his fingers than he does in sitting up. Oh well. It will come in time. HAHA.

  I love taking pictures of Hayden. (In case you haven't noticed.) I take about 20 or more of him everyday. I think these 2 pictures are my favorite ones that I took today.

Hayden's and Daddy's hands

I am in love with how piercing his eyes are.

   Earlier today I was working on some new bow tie headbands for my Etsy shop. I looked over at Hayden and he was happily playing on his playmat, chewing on his little blue elephant we have named Ellie. I just smiled and him and finished sewing the bow tie. Not 30 seconds I look back over and this is what I see:

I'm still trying to figure out how Ellie got on his back. LOL

  One of the unique things about Hayden is that he has 3 crowns on the back of his head. For those of you who may not know what a crown is, some people call it a hurricane, some people call it a swirl.

There is one big one on the left and two side by side on the right. I see a lot of hair product in his future. The poor little guy. As you can tell where the hair meets it forms a very thick mohawk in the front and the back. I think it's kind of cute. :)

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet...

   So Hayden knows his name!! It's so great!!! When we call his name he now turns his head to whoever calls it!! It's so cool!!! :D I love it!! What a great milestone to have met!! He has so many nicknames at one point I was so afraid he would never know his name but alas he recognizes it, well, as long as he's not being stubborn. Have no idea where he got that from. ;)

   Today Hayden tried Avocadoes for the first time!! I thought that it would be a good time to branch out a bit from just the regular orange veggies. I am attaching a video. You judge what you think he thought of it.

   Today was a first of a few things for Hayden. He got his first owie today. Unfortunately I don't have a good picture but I will post more when it gets a little bit darker.

   Here's how it happened. Daniel is sick today so we were all laying in bed watching a video on his iPad and Hayden was just kind of crawling around on me when he flung himself over my knees and happened to bash his head into the side of the iPad. He hit his bone right where his eyebrow is. :(  Poor little guy. His first owie of many.

  So Hayden has decided that since he has discovered his feet he doesn't have to keep his feet in his outfits anymore. (This was a first from today as well)  LOL After about the 50th time I put his feet back in I just said to heck with it and have left them out. HAHA!! Such a silly little guy. 

  I guess having them out of his outfit makes them easier for him to have access to so he can suck on his toes. LOL

I guess I will just have to put socks on his feeties when he starts doing this more regularly. I never have a dull day with this little mini munchkin man in my life. And I wouldn't have it any other way. <3

Hayden is on the move

   I knew Hayden was going to be a mover when I started feeling him move when I was only 13 weeks along in my pregnancy and he hasn't stopped moving since!! He is such a wiggle worm!!
   Since the moment that boy learned how to roll over we haven't been able to stop him from moving. Today he decided to pull his play mat on top of him. HAHA!!

    I'm not even entirely sure how he did it. One minute we were all watching him scoot on his belly and the next he is 2 feet away, on his back with his playmat on top of him.

He was so proud of himself. LOL He was just talking to us and would flap his arms and flail his feet. It was so cute!!

  He is such a hand-full and only sleeps about 2 hours at a time (if that much) but when I look at this face and when I get to give it kisses and I get to snuggle with him it makes it all worth it. :)

Hayden is 19 weeks :)

   My little monkey man will be 19 weeks tomorrow. :) I would post tomorrow but it is colonoscopy day so today it is. :) Time has gone by so fast. I know I post that every time but it is true. I used to listen to my parents say that all the time and it seems as I get older the truer it gets.

    I feel like any day now teeth are going to break through his gums. Everything he sees goes into his mouth and he has to gum it to death. He has such a strong bite!! I refuse to let him bite my fingers anymore because the last time he did I felt like he was going to dislocate my finger!! LOL

Nothing really new

  Nothing really new to report. :) Hayden is doing fabulous as always. :) He has started to put himself to sleep sometimes. Which is really nice. :) We don't always have to rock him to sleep. Which save our back some pain. :)

He played so hard he put himself to sleep. And yes, he is covered with a burp rag. lol

   Haddy is now on 3 different veggies. Sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash. And he LOVES his food. We were in Barnes and Noble the other day and every time I would give him a bite he would make little "mmm" sounds. A little girl sitting near us thought it was the greatest thing and kept laughing at him.

  In general he is a pretty happy baby. He smiles and laughs at everyone. The only time he really gets fussy is when he gets hungry or sleepy. But then again who doesn't get fussy when they are tired or hungry. :) 

  I can't wait to show you guys his weekly pictures. They will be a day early because I have a colonscopy on Wednesday but they will be on here. :)

Hayden Birth thru 18 weeks

Recently I have been hearing a lot, "He's gotten so big!!" So in order to see how big Hayden has truly gotten I have decided to put his weekly pictures side by side. Let me know what you think. :) The pictures go from birth to 18 weeks. :)

Hayden is 18 weeks today!! :D

   My baby boy turns 18 weeks today!! I can't believe it! He is growing up so fast. Every day he changes in looks and personality. It has been such an amazing journey into mommyhood. It was such a rough start and yet it just keeps getting better. I love my little man more than I ever thought possible.

Teething rings have become his new favorite thing!

   In just the last week Hayden has changed so much in his little personality, or should I say his BIG little personality. He is definitely my child. LOL He has started getting up on his hands and knees more and more. He constantly rocks in the position and then gets so mad when he doesn't go anywhere. LOL

  His new favorite thing is to grab hold of stuff. Anything that he can see he wants to hold on to and it goes straight into his mouth. He is still teething, :( I hope it ends soon, so he just slobbers and chews on EVERYTHING!!

  He is FINALLY able to wear some of the smaller 3-6 month clothing and they don't hang off him!! HURRAY!! I'm sad he's growing up but am so excited to help him meet each new stage.

♥ Day

  Today I have been married to my best friend for 4 months. :) I think he planned it that way. ;) I can't imagine living my life without him. Daniel has been my rock through some of the worst times I think anyone can go through. We have been through so much that would rip a couple apart and yet everything has just driven us closer together. He is my best friend, my lover, the father of our handsome son, my rock, my shoulder to cry on. Who could wish for anyone better?? I am so grateful God has brought him into my life and every day I am in awe that I get to share the rest of my life with him!

Here is our story. Enjoy!!

  For those of you who don't know Daniel surprised me with a wedding. :) 

   It all started back in Sept when we decided it was time for us to apply for a marriage license. We had been talking about it for quite some time and finally broke down and did it. We were talking about how we wanted to go about it and who we would like to be there, when about 2 weeks after we applied he turned to me and asked if he could plan it all. At this point I already felt like I was married to him so the whole certificate of marriage was just a piece of paper and I didn't want a big ceremony anyway so I said sure.
    He often teased me that he was going to have a priest come in and marry us while I was in labor. Of course that got him death glares. :) HAHA! Time went by, we had other things on our mind, and the day came for Hayden to be born (another story in itself). I had completely forgotten all about the marriage license that had been sitting on our kitchen shelf for over a month. Hayden was born on a Wednesday night and on Friday morning Daniel and I were having breakfast when my favorite nurse came into the room and asked Daniel if she could see him because there was something wrong with the birth certificate. I was truly freaking out. When Daniel came back into the room I peppered him with questions and he just replied, "They wanted to make sure my middle name was spelled right."
  I was discharged that morning but unfortunately Hayden had to stay in the hospital one more night so they told me I could stay until he got to go home but I had to move to a smaller room. I was okay with this. The nurses said that they would move me while Daniel and I were taking a walk. (This was all a ploy to gets us out of the room)
  Here's where it gets interesting. Daniel had me take a shower, the first one since Tuesday night (THE MOST GLORIOUS SHOWER I HAVE EVER TAKEN!!) and the whole time he was rushing me. I couldn't figure out what was so important. I finally got ready, wearing a Nickelback t-shirt (always said they would be involved in my wedding), black yoga pants, and flower slippers, because my feet were too swollen to even fit in my flip-flops. Daniel and I walked down to the cafeteria to get him a soda and then on our way back he asked if we could take a detour. We ended up in the new part of the hospital and in front of the chapel doors. When they opened the doors I saw a pastor standing at the front and people Daniel worked with standing up and the nurses from the L&D floor.
  I immediately started crying. I kept asking why he couldn't wait until my hormones were more under control. lol It was so beautiful. It wasn't the most ideal ceremony but my son was there to celebrate the moment Daniel and I said "I do".

  Immediately after the ceremony the nurses stuck me in a wheelchair and told Daniel to follow. We had no idea what was going on. Turns out the nurses got together with a few different departments at the hospital and put together a little reception for us. :)

   The nurse who had come into the room earlier in the day was talking to Daniel about the wedding!! He had kept it pretty hush hush and she was mad he hadn't told them. :) We had cake and music and friends there. It was a very perfect day!

  Today is Hayden's first Valentine's Day!! :) That little boy is so incredibly loved! He is showered with love from all over the US. From his NaNa and PawPaw to his Sister, Sam, to his "Aunties" and "Uncles". I am so thankful God has put such loving and caring people into my son's life. I can't wait until he wakes up this morning so I can shower him in hugs and kisses from all of our "Family".

4 months!!

  Hayden turned 4 months today!! I can't believe it! It's like it was just yesterday Daniel and I found out we were pregnant. We are such proud parents!! My little guy is absolutely perfect!!
